Every cost guide on this site is built from:
- Real repair invoices submitted by US drivers
- Manufacturer pricing data
- Interviews with ASE-certified mechanics
- Retailer pricing from AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, and NAPA
Editorial Standards
